Amy Kirkwood Coaching
Monique, Editorial Manager
The coaching has helped me change my mindset and look at situations differently. I feel more confident in making difficult decisions and setting clear boundaries. Doing the coaching as a group was also beneficial in that we were able to discuss and learn from others too. Keeping in touch with the rest of the group after the coaching sessions came to an end has encouraged us to stay motivated and accountable.
How group coaching works
Group coaching programmes typically involve between 4 and 8 sessions to explore a shared development need or topic of interest. The sessions provide opportunities for individuals to reflect on their own capabilities and challenges in a group setting.
Group coaching is beneficial for a number of reasons:
-
learning from each other on a shared development need or topic of interest, e.g. how to improve decision-making and self-confidence, or dealing with ambiguity on fast-paced projects
-
creating connections and a sense of community among teams as well as people who don’t usually work together
-
fostering a sense of accountability for shared learning and best practice.
I offer standalone group coaching programmes as well as combined programmes with 1:1 sessions depending on the client or sponsor’s needs and priorities.
